There are many other companies - apart from the clusters of energy, healt care and information technology - that have settled in the Science Park.

A lot of them are concerned with "know how transfer" in a broad sense like training, consulting or communications services.

Also the EU project RECORE was a type of know how transfer. The Science Park participated as the German partner in this project, which focussed on the question of how former mining areas managed structural change.
